Hotel Birks Montreal

We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Birks in Montreal. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown, with Philips Square just outside our window and many of the city’s top attractions, shops, and restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was clean, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with a lovely view of the square. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Every member of the staff we interacted with was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, always making us feel welcome and taken care of. The valet staff were especially helpful and courteous, making arrivals and departures seamless. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of fantastic, and we would absolutely recommend Hotel Birks to anyone visiting Montreal.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hôtel Birks. The room was clean and well-maintained. There were a few minor issues at first, such as the missing phone and an empty mini-bar, but everything was quickly taken care of. A big thank you to Zakaria, the supervisor, who was extremely professional and came personally to our room to answer all our questions. His recommendations were spot on and truly enhanced our stay. Also, a special shoutout to Antoni, the valet, who was always smiling and very helpful. Excellent service from start to finish!

We stayed 3 nights here last week. The hotel is charming, and the rooms are very very comfortable. The bed might be one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in a hotel. Extra points for queen size pillows! The room was very clean, and the in-room tech operated seamlessly. However, i do see why people complain about this hotel that markets itself as a 5 star hotel. The experience is definitely NOT 5 star. When we checked in, water bottles were not left in the room. Housekeeping service needs to he explicitly requested, and as a result we didn’t have our room serviced one of the days. Our room also didn’t have a luggage rack which we had to request. Finally, considering that the room is situated across a popular square, the room could do with some better sound proofing.
