This is a very decent hotel with a lot to offer. Although we initially had an issue with a broken washroom, the staff were extremely accommodating and acted quickly to move us to a new room without any hassle. The location is also a big plus—very accessible by public transit, which made getting around super easy. But the real highlight was the breakfast—it was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. Overall, we had a good experience and would consider staying here again.
I recently stayed at this hotel for a work trip, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing overall. While some staff members were polite, several issues made the stay frustrating and uncomfortable. First, the air conditioning in our room did not work, the room remained uncomfortably warm throughout the nights. One evening, our team planned to have dinner at the hotel to continue working together, but we weren’t allowed to use the lobby area due to a private event. We noticed a free meeting room and asked if we could use it briefly — it was already 9:30 PM — but were told it would cost $150 usd, which felt completely unreasonable for such short use. There was also no room service, so we had no choice but to go out and find food late at night, when most places nearby were already closed. No one informed us of this beforehand — a simple email or phone call earlier in the day would have helped us plan better. When we asked for support at the front desk, they weren’t helpful and offered no real solution. Even basic amenities like drinking water came at an extra charge, which added to the overall sense of poor hospitality. To make things worse, during check-out, the young woman at the front desk was rude and dismissive when I asked for a breakdown of the charges I was being asked to pay. That interaction left a bad final impression and made my stay end on an even more negative note. Overall, the hotel lacks flexibility, communication, and basic customer care — not what you expect, especially as a business traveler
Air conditioner is not working well during hot summer. I saw a lot of rooms including our room open the window for fresh air. Hallway and lobby are much cooler than the room. If you are light sleeper, their curtains cannot cover the light. The best thing in the hotel is strong water for shower. But that is for shower, if you need the water for drink, you need to pay for it. The other nice thing is their service for something missing in th room. We call the counter for tissue and they bring the tissue very quickly.
