Disappointing Stay - Not What It Used to Be We were really let down by our stay at this hotel. It's clear that it may have been a great place in the past, but currently it's badly understaffed and poorly managed. The staff who are there seem untrained and overwhelmed. A dirty, wet towel sat outside the door next to our room for over 24 hours without anyone removing it, and a vacuum cleaner was left in the middle of the staircase for just as long. These small but telling details show a lack of basic housekeeping and care. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was for the pool, but it turned out to be empty and unavailable. There was no mention of this on the website. When we asked about it, we were told the pool isn't filled during the off-season. That may make sense to them, but it would have been respectful and fair to mention it clearly online - especially since there are no refunds once you book. Overall, the hotel feels like it's running on a shoestring budget and doesn't match what it promises. I wouldn't recommend it until serious improvements are made.

Horrible. We arrived around 11pm. We were extremely tired and we just wanted a good room, hot shower and sleep. The receptionist hadn’t a great English level but it was fine at first. At the room we found out that there’s no hot water. After calling to the receptionist she said that she had no idea (that was weird) and she will check another room. After around 10mints we were informed that the whole bulging had a problem and we needed to change to another one (the hotel has different buildings inside and the first one that we were sent to was pretty far away from the reception). After arriving to the other room we noticed that it was a worst room, way more smaller and again without hot water. Some buildings were also abandoned with not a good look. This was already almost 1am and we still looking for a solution. We ended up packing everything again and we went to the reception. Nobody was there. We looked to the whole hotel and nothing. We had to scream for support and only 10 minutes after the receptionist arrived. After expressing our thoughts and disappointing, we asked for our money back. The receptionist refused to do so and said that actually she had a better room but she was still not sure if there was hot water. This was too much and we asked again for the refund. she kept refusing and I had to ask her to call someone. We heard the lady confirming that there was a problem with probably the entity property and finally someone told her to refund us. We ended up losing time, fuel and money because we did the reservation with Revolut points and we only received the money back. We have been travelling around the world and this is a first for sure. No compensation from the hotel was provided. Horrible horrible horrible. Also: while waiting for a solution there was a lot of mugs and coffee mugs at the reception tables already too dry, meaning that it has been there for a while and nobody cleaned that. Jesus. For sure the property might have potencial or maybe it was good in the past but god… not now for sure…

I was there first about 8 years ago and it was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately now that I repeated visit to this hotel, i was shocked how rundown and badly kept the place is. Please make a reforma. The place can be wonderful, but you need to repaint or clean all the stains from water leakages and mold and what not. It's really a shame. I think the garden and the spa can be one of the best in the area, but at the moment it will give you Ascó if you look around just a bit cause everything is covered in stains. You can see there are a lot of reviews complaining about similar issues. I don't know that is happening with the management of the hotel that they have allowed the place to be so run down. The breakfast is ok, the premises in general also but you can see everything a lack of cleaning and maintenance.
