Hotel Bologna

Beautiful small hotel. We had the family room, which was cozy but had enough room for 4 of us. It had a nice small balcony to sit outside. There was no lock to the bathroom which was a bit of inconvenience hence only 4 star to the room. The breakfast was really good. Mouth watering bakery items. So fresh and yummy. Loved the pistachio croissant. Staff were polite and helpful. Location was in the centre of the city and within walking distance to leaning tower of Pisa and shopping street. Would definitely stay here again.

Although we only stayed here for one night, we enjoyed our stay. Their shuttle service ended at 8 pm. The driver have left by the time our flight which was delayed landed just after 8 pm. The person at the reception took the time to take the hotel vehicle and picked up our family of 4. This was great as we have traveled about 16 hours to start our Italy vacation starting at Pisa. Breakfast was included and they had a great selection. About a 15 minute walk from the tower of Pisa. And also a 15 minute walk to the Pisa Centrale train station. Our room was clean and roomy and staff were very helpful.

One of the worst hotels I have been at. For one the electricity does not work unless you put your key in a card holder. When we got there the room was so hot. On the rooftop there was a bike so who knew if someone hung out there and was watching us sleep. We ended up checking out early. Then we never got out money back the hotel said it was up to expedia but that was not true. Also they had a “queen bed” which was a actually two twins with a sheet over them. Then we never got our money back the hotel said we would but we didn't. We booked the hotel because there were good reviews but I don't know if ai wrote them or what. Also I tried to switch rooms and they said it was two late I should have said something as soon as I checked in and if I did that I would have to pay for both rooms. What a joke I am never going back to that hotel.
