A very welcome place where your well being is respected and guaranteed! A quiet, luxurious and friendly hotel. The reception team is amazing and professional, always pro active to make your stay a pleasant one. The bar downstairs is a really special place run by the most dynamic and funny bartender I ever met. The location close to the Bonalba golf club next door and only 25 minutes from the Alicante airport is extremely efficient and close to all the amenities surrounding the hotel. The pools are vast well kept but not heated. In all: they know hospitality in this hotel and they apply it very well.

Let me preface this by saying that I’ve stayed at many hotels in my life — from budget rooms to luxury suites — and never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect and outright hostility. What began as a simple accident quickly escalated into something out of a courtroom drama. During my stay, I unfortunately had a personal emergency during the night — something incredibly embarrassing and, yes, involuntary. I had an unfortunate accident involving urination. As humiliating as it is to admit, it somehow managed to affect the room below mine due to poor construction or lack of waterproofing (clearly a hotel issue, if we’re being honest). Instead of approaching me with compassion, discretion, or at least some basic human decency, the hotel staff decided to accuse me as if I were some kind of criminal. They barged into my room, told me they had “evidence” of the incident, and demanded that I come to the front desk for questioning — like it was some sort of police interrogation. But it didn’t end there. Oh no. They threatened to call the police. For what? For having a bodily function accident while sleeping? Since when is being human a criminal offense? The lack of empathy was astounding. They treated me like a public menace rather than a paying guest who had an unfortunate moment of vulnerability. They demanded I pay for cleaning (fine, understandable), but they did it with zero tact, zero privacy, and a whole lot of judgment. I was mortified. I’ve never felt so ashamed or dehumanized by staff whose job should be to assist guests, not harass them. The manager even suggested I was “intoxicated” — which I wasn’t. That kind of baseless assumption was completely uncalled for. To make matters worse, they repeatedly mentioned “police involvement” as if they wanted to scare me into submission. It felt less like a hotel and more like a low-budget prison camp with concierge service. This entire ordeal ruined my trip, embarrassed me beyond belief, and made me question whether basic empathy even exists anymore in the hospitality industry. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not. Do I recommend anyone else risk it? Only if you want to be threatened with law enforcement for being human. Avoid this place unless you enjoy humiliation, being accused, and treated like a criminal over a bodily accident.
