Hotel Borgo di Cortefreda Relais

Excellent service, dated rooms but clean. Depends where you are but can be a bit hot. Room 309 is a winner nice and cool. Staff were all very nice especially by the pool the bartender. Food for lunch was quite good and reasonable. Breakfast was very good too even had a juicer to kick start some health to the day. Pretty far from most places. Rent a car unless you’re just doing to and from.

Fantastic countryside hotel in the heart of Tuscany. Comfortable and clean. And how can you not like a breakfast buffet with cornetti and a Nutella pump?

We have found this lovely place by chance on our way and we immediately liked it. We decided to stay for a night and it was overall a good choice. Unfortunately after dinner when we went to bed we noticed that the door lock was broken and since it was midnight we put a table behind the door for the night and we then complained the day after at check out. Another issue was with the shower which was broken and suddenly flooded the bathroom. After we have addressed these problems we weee immediately compensated with a bottle of wine and a partial refund of the value was offered too! I hope they will fix that room because everything else was perfect and if was not for this I would have given 5 🌟
