Hotel Borgo Smeraldo

Rooms very clean, comfortable and spacious. Friendly staff and great services! We were very happy with our stay. They also let us do late checkout, so we could spend the whole day at the beach before go to the airport for our flight.

Great views from its hilltop location overlooking Costa Smeralda. The location was ideal to access the surrounding restaurants and beaches, would highly recommend San Pantaleo which is quite close. The hotel is quiet luxury with a sense of privacy. The staff was phenomenal and responsive, its low key elegance without the crowd. Wonderful front desk staff and were accessible at all hours. The rooms are spacious and the doors and windows really open up to the views and fresh air. The layout of the hotel feels like a charming town square vibe without trying hard. Breakfasts were simple but exceptional, with the elegance of a neighborhood cafe.

Disgustingly poor service. Expect everything to happen ten times slower, from your food being served to booking a taxi. The reception was constantly empty, the restaurant messed up our food orders and had half of a ”temporary” menu to offer. The mediocre rooms do not make up for the horrible service this hotel has to offer. I strongly recommend never to visit
