Hotel Borobudur Jakarta

It's wonderful to hear about a great hotel experience. Having great locations is certainly a key aspect of a hotel's appeal. The hotel's name sounds very interesting and inviting. Excellent food at the cafe is a delightful addition to the overall experience. The opportunity to enjoy such amenities is something many travelers look forward to. This type of hotel offers a memorable stay for guests. It seems like a fantastic place to consider for future travels. Overall, it seems like a truly exceptional choice.

We went with our family and booked 5 rooms. The hotel lobby decorated nice and pretty. But the room regrettably is not that good. The antislip mat in our room is moldy. The lamp above the sink has some kind of decorarions which also moldy. The other room where our sister stayed in, has little pieces of broken glass in the bathroom which is not easily visible and caused a scratch on her feet. Our bathroom also has big towels, but there was no hand/face towel. And there was no shower cap too. I don't know if this is the regulation in here or did they just happen to forget to put them in our room. Part of the tiles in our room also broken, but it was covered by the carpet. So it's not dangerous and didn't bother us too much. But you can feel it when you step on it, making click-clack sound and rough. The parking lot is quite far from the lobby, so make sure to drop your baggage and your family first in the lobby then proceed to park your car. The positive side of the room, it's quite spacious and we can easily put the suitcases around. The hotel location also great and near mall and restaurants. The breakfast has many varieties and one of the best breakfast I had.

We stayed at a five-star hotel expecting professional service and comfort. We were traveling with our 28 month old child who required medication to be kept refrigerated yet the in room fridge was not working. We informed the staff at check-in, but no action was taken throughout our stay. We also specifically requested a non-smoking room, considering we were traveling with a toddler, but were still assigned a smoking room. To make matters worse, someone knocked on our door late at night, not to provide assistance, but simply to remind us of the 11 AM check-out policy. For a hotel with such a reputation, the lack of responsiveness, empathy, and even the most basic standard of hospitality was truly disappointing. Certainly not the experience one expects when traveling with a young child.
