Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro

What an absolute treat to stay at this hotel. The service was incredible. A beautiful spa. The property itself is magical, with much love and effort and good taste. Many spots to hangout, relax and have a beautiful stay. This place is truly a hidden gem. Rooms are classy, very clean, very good quality sheets and towels. Elevator is super cool and a great plus. Max 3 min to get to the main street.

We came to this hotel to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary and what a special place this was! Getting to reception was an experience - a lift, a funicular and then 77 steps! The view when you got to the top was well worth it. The hotel staff were so friendly, helpful and responsive. They met all of our needs and we could not have asked for more. Our room had the biggest bed I have ever seen and we had a lovely jacuzzi bath. The view from our balcony was stunning. The food and drink at the hotel was excellent, breakfast was a treat each morning. Huge respect for the staff who carry the suitcases up those 77 steps! I can honestly say that we would love to come back here again. Thank you for making our holiday so special.

Charming older hotel with wonderful character. Picturesque mount views from the room terraces of the quant town of Maiori and the beautiful sea below. #peaceful Staff especially the manager highly attentive to any needs or requests. Very friendly. The chefs do a superb job with meals; and they too are very kind and friendly with guests. Be sure to see the cactus garden on property—a hidden gem. Staff also gave great recommendations about local restaurants as well as sites to visit. Staff was #kind. Highly recommend. NOTE: it is in the mountain so does require lift to get to hotel (quick and easy) and has steps from lift to hotel entrance.
