Hotel Bouganville

Rooms are comfortable, location is convenient, breakfast is plentiful and the restaurant staff is very professional. The hotel set up is a bit inconvenient, with rooms located in different buildings requiring a long walk to reach the reception, the restaurant or the swimming pool. In addition, guests have to pay for towels at the pool, which is really not the level of service one would expect at a 4-star hotel. The hotel has a spa but we were not able to use the facility (hot tub, sauna, etc) as it's open to outside guests and on the days we were there they already had too many people. This was annoying considering that the main reason we booked the hotel instead of other cheaper properties was because of the spa.

OK hotel. Split over many different levels. Was there for business so didn’t use any of the spar facilities. Basic room, noisy air con and corridors. Very nice bathroom and shower.

We stayed at this hotel for one night in June. Unfortunately they were having a wedding at the property that evening which was very noisy. We asked if it was possible to move room and the lady on reception was unsympathetic and frankly quite rude. She told us we were a long way away from the wedding when it was literally just below us. This was the only large hotel we stayed in on our 10 stay holiday around Italy and it will encourage me to avoid large hotels again in the future. Weddings are lovely things just not so much for the other guests. On top of this the breakfast the next morning was average at best. All in all a dissapointing stay here.
