Hotel Boutique Casa del Coliseo

Beautiful rooms. Lovely l'Occitaine toiletries. Perfect location in the centre of the walled city. Great staff, huge breakfasts and a lovely roof terrace with pool

Very nice boutique hotel located in the heart of old city in Cartagena. The room is clean and well maintained, although not very spacious. One down side from staying in the old city is that the noise outside may disturb the sleep. But the hotel is well prepared and they provide ear mufflers. The pool is very nice and the cocktail they serve at the reception is one of my favorite. Their breakfast is good. Staff were very helpful with recommendations and suggestions on places and directions in Cartagena.

The hotel is beautiful, with a nice room and bathroom. The location and breakfast were excellent. However, we encountered two issues: 1. One pair of my shoes “disappeared”—the wrapping and filler paper were left behind, but the shoes were gone. 2. The check-out experience was disappointing. We requested luggage pickup at 9:45 AM, but no one arrived on time. Since we had to catch a flight, we started moving our bags ourselves. Just as we were about to get into our Uber, staff questioned whether we had consumed a beer from the minibar (which we hadn’t) and whether the bathrobes were still in the room. We expected better service from a hotel of this caliber.
