Hotel Boutique de Cantera y Plata

We stayed there for one night. It was an amazing experience. The views were spectacular. The cleanliness was amazing. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing as well. Next time, we will definitely stay for a few days…. I will definitely recommend to all my family and friends.

Gorgeous. The best spot in taxco hands down. Great views, rooms, drinks, food. You came this far to Taxco and the view is truly spectacular up here. Have a mezcal and watch the sun go down.

I reserved for one night as I had a wedding to attend. At night coming back the guards didn’t wanted to let me in as they didn’t have my name. They are only 9 rooms and did not know I was in the hotel or have any list. They didn’t had my name and gate was barely open I had to showed them my key, still they hesitate to let me in. The hotel has only nine rooms and after a horrible experience of paying more than $300 and not been able to get in, i do not recommend the place. As the gate was not open I had to walk to be able to get in, after fitting for a couple of minutes, they open the gate for the taxi to get in ( as my partner was still out) I slept for 5 hours and left, the guards said I was able to get in and were completely rude to me next morning when I called to see what happened in regards of the situation. I had to mentioned that I got desperate trying to be able to get in as all my luggage, passport and clothing was in the room and I couldn’t get in the place, plus were else you going to sleep for the night when you already pay for a place. Sad experience overall. Please do not pay high price other hotels might not be as elegant as this but at least they let you in and they don’t treat you like are an intruder.
