Fabulous in every single way. From the cheerful and friendly greeting, to the beautiful buildings combining modern with historic, to the food and ambience, it is hard to beat. Great prices as well. Highly recommended
I knew this hotel when I was younger. We would stop by to see it when we visited the small town of Mave. I always thought it was beautiful and I wanted to stay as a guest since then. I finally did and I’m so glad I did. The hotel is so gorgeously restored, complete with patios and courtyards. The rooms are all unique and they feel very special. The restaurant was also outstanding. Everything was thoughtful, local, and fresh. And the breakfast had all of my absolute favorite things from my childhood: jamón, fresh yogurt, fruit, bread, The surrounding towns are peaceful and they give you a chance to see a gorgeous part of Spain that most people don’t ever see.
Beautifully decorated interior that matches the 800 year old monastery. We stayed at a Rustic Room, which is lovely. The bath tub/shower is a little cramped, and some floor areas are dusty. The garden is also romantic.
