Hotel Boutique La Rioja

Very friendly service. Nice and well kept garden. There is a pool and paddle court. Ample parking available. We only came for brunch (did not stay at the hotel). Food was well priced. It was a good size plates but not the best tasty meals in the area. However it was an enjoyable morning. Recommended.

Worse experience we've ever had. First they are not able to take payment for US customers. When we called 3 days in advance they stated that we did not have a reservation. A family member that made the deposit had to go to the back to confirm the payment. We attempted to cancel as they wanted us to pay for 2 rooms which we explained we did not need since we had two small children and wanted them to stay with grama in the room. They came to a compromise and advised us we would have to switch rooms on Sunday. Saturday comes around and we are having lunch by the pool they advised us we needed to move today in the next couple hours. We moved as quickly as possible. During our move two high end bags were missing one of them had our credit card and identifications. We brought this up to the hotel employees and they kept gaslighting us. No resolution was ever offered.

Terrible service. Manager was not helpful and very rude. I do not recommend this place to anyone, as employees don't understand hospitality and make a lot of noise. They play nonstop regueton on Spotify WITH ads. The phone's reception doesn't stop ringing all night long. I didn't sleep at all because of the employees. It was a very disappointing stay, even though the bathroom was great- water pressure and temperature great, good bed and sheets...- yet not good enough if employees don't solve your necessities- such a basic thing like letting you rest. Not to mention, the facilities, including pool, are not as big in real life as portrayed in photos.
