Hotel Boutique Lagarta Lodge

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. The restaurant food was to die for!!! SO YUMMY. And definitely the best food we’ve had on our trip. Friendly and helpful staff, amazing views and clean areas/ pools. Massage was good as well. Would recommend to anyone!! Such a relaxing place to stay

My wife and I enjoyed Lagarta so much we extended our stay and changed our flight back. The staff was awesome and welcomed our questions. Food we thought was very good, the views are the best. The road to the lodge is rough and we found the path to the beach no bueno however the shuttles more than make up for the lack of walking path. Highly, highly recommend.

A spectacular property that just needs a bit of TLC to bring it up to 5 stars. Amazing views, decent enough restaurant and very friendly staff that give excellent service. Few areas of improvement: 1. The bed was beyond uncomfortable. Might have been the worst bed I’ve ever slept on. Could feel springs jamming into my back and it’s clearly an absolutely ancient mattress. At this price point, I would have at least expected a passable mattress. 2. The room service charge is ridiculous. Free of charge to be delivered anywhere on property, but if staff take any F&B to your room, there’s a charge. 3. The reserve is completely overgrown. Impossible to walk through without constantly having to duck. In desperate need of some upkeep. 4. The food at the restaurant is so so. Actually better than expected since the view really is spectacular. I would recommend only having one dinner here and going off property for all others. Despite this, we did have a great time at the hotel. If these few improvements were made, it would be 5 stars for sure.
