This place has just reopened with a new owner and chef and we popped in by accident on a Sunday evening. We were so surprised about the food in this restaurant on this small island. Definitely worth a recommendation in the Michelin Guide and what a good price quality ratio especially the menus! Wouldn’t be surprised if they get a Michelin star. Check this place out if you’re a foodie and into french cuisine.

We very appreciated the kind employees, delicious food and clean rooms. It was nice to stay in that hotel and we would do it again. Okay, bathroom is Part of the sleeping area but we were fine with that point. One negativ point was that we were not informed that goat cheese was partly included in the dessert at dinner. That was due to the menu card which is only available in netherlands and frech. So we spent 20 euros for a dessert without being able to enjoy it. Ordering a chocolate cake wont let you expect something with goat cheese. Anyway, we liked the Hotel, the breakfast was delicious and the island is a beauty of nature.

No further feedback from hotel... We booked 6 nights. Beds were very very soft offering no support, and it is one of the loudest places on the island (road crossing). So, we had to leave this hotel after the 2nd night as we did not get any real sleep. This hotel then charged all 6 nights, although it was high season and the rooms could/were easily sold again after we left. I never had such an experience with a hotel before. The other place we went to after was very nice, quiet, less expensive and pleasant. It is the first time I rate a hotel with 1 star, but with this experience I have to. I would recommend it to people who like very soft beds and noisy island roads at night and in the morning.
