Hotel Bridges House

This hotel has a great location just off the central square in Delft. The room was bigger than I expected and was nice and clean. The breakfast was reasonable with a good variety of items covering most diets. The only negative, which was minor, is the tight seating in the breakfast room. I would gladly stay here again.

The rooms are spacious and the staff is courteous and helpful. But there are a couple of things that I would like to point out which left a sour taste in the mouth. Firstly someone while doing the room service left the balcony door open and when we returned in the evening there were flies in the room which must have entered from the garden. Also on the last day the central heating as well as the water heater wasn't working and when I asked the staff they didn't know what to do. It is difficult to bathe in ice cold water when the ambient room temperature is 12 degrees Celsius. Also the room service did not change the cups in the room, nor replace the cocoa sachets that were over so that was a little funny. The location and rooms were good but things can be improved.

Our flight to Amsterdam was cancelled only 2 days before we fly due to a strike and the hotel didn't accept to return our money , they offered to get us a discount to change our staying but they overcharged us on purpose and the called this a discount. You should be ashamed. The owners reply its simply not true, because first i contact with agoda and they told me that i cant get refund because the hotel doesn't accept that and they suggest me to speak with them. As for the discount first you increased the prices and then you made us an iconic discount. Anyway i didn't missed anything you have bad reviews on booking and everywhere actually. Next time i will be more careful to choose a really good hotel.
