My husband and I stayed two nights for a mini vacation. Beautiful decor in the rooms, with a nicely decorated and designed shower. Much nicer visually than an average hotel room. Very nice location - we were only an 8 minute drive from downtown Saratoga Springs. As others have mentioned, the staff was very friendly, but perhaps still need some training, just in little things. The front desk never told us the wifi password, and it wasn't located anywhere in the room. The pillow cases and sheets in our room were very clean, but the pillows themselves smelled off - very strange in a normal hotel, let alone a luxury one. The room itself smelled a bit odd, too. Almost like burning plastic? The Spa massage I booked was great - very relaxing. Unfortunately, it was too full to accommodate my husband, even a few days out. Literally zero openings. Book a few weeks before you travel! Some strange layout choices in the room: bathroom light switches under the towel hooks, so if you had towels hanging, the light switches were "hidden." The light in the toilet was automatic, and incredibly bright, which was blinding and shocking for a nighttime bathroom visit. The AC control screen faced the bed, and was incredibly bright. We had to hang a shirt from it precariously to cover it in order to sleep. It fell during the night one night, and had to be fixed before we could fall back asleep. There was no setting to dim the screen. The pool was very nice, and was able to accommodate around 4 or 5 swimmers comfortably. I was kind of surprised there wasn't a larger pool? The Sauna worked one of the days we visited, but only got up to 104 degrees. Overall, we made the most of it, so it was a nice visit, and if these little things are corrected, we'd probably consider coming back!

Very VERY disorganized hotel. We had two rooms reserved for two nights. Arrived at 6:00 after LONG drive and neither room was ready! Each room had the same problems. No glasses (not even paper cups!). Coffee maker but no coffee. No waters (in Saratoga!). No shampoo or soap in shower (empty wall units). No iron. No ironing board. Front door(s) were very heavy and no auto open button. My husband is on a walker and it was very difficult to deal with. No employee to help. No one could give us any information about the Saratoga Race track.....we were informed from two front desk crew that they had never been! It is literally five minutes from the hotel and one of the BIGGEST attraction to that town. Came back second night to both rooms not being serviced. Our long planned dinner reservations were difficult to keep as they made me wait over 20 minutes to get "the last two towels in the entire hotel. They were waiting for delivery". HUH??????? On and on...thermostat stuck on 76 degrees that had a very strong light that lit up the entire room all night. Everyone working there was either overwhelmed or in a daze. Complimentary coffee both mornings had no coffee left @8:00am. Waited (both mornings!) more then 15 min for a fresh pot. then waited for milk. then waited for paper cups. UGH! Do not stay here - not worth the aggravation!!! Just awful.

Aside from the hotel’s proximity to the track, my experience was quite underwhelming. Upon arrival, after paying over $700 for a room, I was surprised to learn that there was no assistance with luggage—guests are expected to carry their own bags. To make matters worse, the front desk staff member was new and provided incorrect directions to my room. I ended up wandering the property, asking multiple staff members for help—none of whom could assist—before returning to the front desk for clarification. I stayed in one of the Loft Suites, which featured two uncovered skylights. Unfortunately, this meant being woken up by sunlight at 6 a.m. every morning, with no option to block it out. The one highlight of my stay was the bartender—a friendly blonde woman who consistently remembered my name and room number, providing excellent service each time I visited the bar. I regret not catching her name. Overall, had the room been priced at half the rate, I might have considered the experience acceptable. However, at this price point, the service and accommodations fell far short of expectations.
