Very friendly professional staff , very comfortable quiet room, huge pool with food and beverage service right at your sun beds. Large dinning room with lots a room to accommodate wedding etc. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I would go back any time.
Looks great on the photos, also arriving there and seeing the lobby area, bar and restaurant was nice. Arriving at the room: AC takes approx 3hrs to actually cool, if the hotel is fully booked it barely works. Bad noise insulation. Pool and the area around was completely dirty and not taken care of, even dangerous (reception said it’s closed but there was no sign and the pool was accessible freely). Cables sticking out of the walls in certain areas of the room. No greetings from the reception staff when entering or exiting the hotel (only if you give the impression of being EXTREMELY well dressed). Hotel advertises dry cleaning in the catalogue of the room but does not offer it (we had a baptism and wanted to get my dress cleaned). Food is very mediocre (breakfast is OK), carpaccio was served still half-frozen. Staff at breakfast polite and nice, when ordering a-la carte the staff seems bored and unprofessional. Complaints are not taken seriously (smiling and not replying was the reaction…). Can’t recommend .
I recently stayed at Hotel Byzantino and was disappointed with several aspects of my visit. The pool area was unsafe to walk around due to holes in the ground, and there were no signs indicating any ongoing work to address this. Additionally, two stray dogs were sitting on large cushions in the pool area. The sun loungers were dirty, and some were broken. The quality of the food was quite poor considering the price, and the room was mediocre at best. Furthermore, the information sheet in each room listed hotel services, including dry cleaning. However, when we requested this service, we were told it was no longer available, and when I asked why it was still listed, they said they used to offer it in the past. The pictures speak for themselves; perhaps it was a four-star hotel in the past, but it no longer meets that standard.
