It's a nicely designed and modern hotel in a good spot to explore the town. It is however rather impersonal. The rooms too are nice (great view from Tower 2 over the Straits) though for some reason the beds are on rollers and move around a lot! For a hotel of this standard I expected a bit more than an empty fridge in the room and not to find the previous guest'spyjamas under the pillow; implying that new bedsheets had not been put on the bed - never come experienced this in many years of travelling. One tip : avoid the top floor (7) of Tower 2 - the rooms can be nosiy as the hotel's heating system is situated on the roof above them.

Large hotel in the centre of town. We were given a room in the old block, facing onto the square. It was extremely noisy during the night (cars racing in the square). There was no aircon. If we wanted to open the window, we needed to have the curtains open. So sleep quality poor. Breakfast was good. If you stay here, ask for a room in the new block.

How is this place a 4 star hotel where the person finds out if you are getting a room in old tower 1 or new tower 2 by the time you get to the hotel? Shouldn’t you pick that option when you are booking the hotel so the reservation is clear if I am getting AC or not in my room (tower 1 vs tower 2). How does a 4 star hotel not have AC in one set of rooms? Why does this 4 star hotel have such slim picking breakfast options? I’d rate this place 3 star at best. You are better off paying a little less and getting better options. South American hotels and South America as a continent need to raise their standards compared to the rest of the world.
