Hotel Caju

I stayed in a premium room on the third floor during a solo work trip. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view. The à la carte breakfast was excellent, offering high-quality products and great service. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring Funchal on foot, with numerous excellent restaurants nearby. A perfect choice for a business stay — but I’d happily return for a holiday too. Highly recommended!

Best location for exploring old town Fuchal. We wanted somewhere central (2 adults) where we were in easy walking reach for restaurants and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is in a quiet street and looks brand new inside whilst they have retained the outside facade. Very nice breakfast choices too. We would definitely stay here again. We rented a car to explore the island, be aware the hotel hasn’t any parking but there are many carparks and on-street parking options within a short walking distance

My wife and my daughter have just ended their stay at Hotel Caju. They had a fantastic week, enjoyed their room, breakfast and service very much and appreciated the help from the staff with bookings of tours and so on. The hotel was perfect as a place to be and as a basis for exploring Madeira as a whole. Booking was easy, including some upfront communication with the reception. All in all a perfect experience.
