This is an absolutely beautiful hotel with the best spa! Unfortunately there is some construction going on next door which made our stay less relaxing than it could have been. It’s very noisy and will probably continue for a few more months. Other than that they had outstanding service and beautiful amenities. I am vegan and my boyfriend is vegetarian, they were so accommodating to our needs when it came to food we were very happy! The staff is friendly and the rooms are even better than the pictures. The spa is beyond impressive! It has an ice room, steam room, sauna, rainforest showers, heating chairs, a foot spa, pool, and jacuzzi!! It’s never too crowded due to reservations which is nice. We really enjoyed our stay here!
We went there for our anniversary dinner. They asked us beforehand if we were celebrating. We mentioned anniversary. I imagine that’s why we got an ocean view sit. The staff is very well trained. Hospitality at the highest standard. Was such a nice experience. We felt very special and taken care of. The interiors of the hotel are beautiful. The dining room is comfortable. The furniture choice and kitchen ware is upscale. Overall happy. Would go back.
We stayed here for our honeymoon, and while the property itself is lovely, our overall experience fell short of expectations — especially at a price point of €800 per night (B&B only). We spent around €5,000 for 6 nights — a huge investment — and while the hotel looks the part, the service and experience did not match the price. Overall a nice stay, but far below the standard a 5-star hotel should offer at this level. The positives: Our suite was spacious and well-appointed. The pools, cabanas, and sea views are stunning. The spa is excellent with a wide range of facilities. Amenities are clean and well maintained. However, several issues impacted our stay: Arrival was underwhelming with no meaningful welcome or local information. Despite advising multiple times it was our honeymoon, there was nothing special in the room — in fact, a welcome note for the previous guest was still there. On our first night, we were turned away from the on-site restaurant Amàri due to lack of reservation — something never mentioned prior. No effort was made to accommodate us, even as honeymooners in one of the hotel’s top rooms. Room service that night was very poor. Service throughout was inconsistent and slow — frequently chasing staff, with some orders never fulfilled. Drinks are extremely expensive (e.g., €20 for a mediocre Old Fashioned), and again service was lacking. Spa access is limited to 2 hours per day and requires pre-booking, which wasn’t clearly explained. When we asked for recommendations on things to do locally, we were given little help, and the nearby town was disappointing. Damp bedsheets on the final night. No housekeeping on shift to replace. Loud music audible in the room until almost midnight.
