Hotel California

I didn’t read the reviews before choosing this hotel and after staying I can’t agree with most of them. When we checked in the gentleman working the counter saw my mother in a wheelchair and personally came with me to see if the room was acceptable, we checked a few rooms until we had one that was comfortable for her. The rooms could use some touch ups but are comfortable enough (I hope your plans are to be in the city and not inside the room). Breakfast is NOT self service but the employees were charming and helpful. The pastries were fresh and super tasty (and different) every day so I don’t know what happened to other people. For cereal you ask for the milk and they get you cold milk bottles from the kitchen. I think it’s a good hotel but understand when people have different experiences in service.

I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I ended up pleasantly surprised by Hotel California. The location was great, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The daily free breakfast was a bonus, and the staff were genuinely lovely, friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I had a positive experience and would consider staying again.

Walls not soundproof ed and we can hear everyone in the hotel at once. Beds were very very fragile. Also even though there are no other bugs in the rest of Italy, but there were a lot here.
