Hotel California Palace

Absolutely loved this hotel, after reading the reviews I was worried but honestly I can't recommend it enough. Yes daytime entertainment wasn't for long but was on everyday, and so was night entertainment. Rooms and hotel was extremely clean and cleaned everyday. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. Dinner was more for adults as the range I think didn't cater for children. Lots of sunbeds always available. Overall the hotel and staff were amazing x

Just got back to the uk yesterday after spending a week at this hotel and had a wonderful time. Was a bit scared as some reviews reported negatively about the food. I did not find this to be the case. We went full board and found each meal to be satisfying. The hotel is really clean, staff friendly. Me and my daughter were made to feel welcome by all the staff. It is a 20 minute walk to the beach, through the town which is lovely. I will definitely book hotel california again. Thank you for a brilliant holiday 😀.

Just stayed at this hotel from 17th to 20th of April 2025. The hotel lobby, lounge and pool were in great condition. The room (320) was clean and reasonably modern but the bed was very uncomfortable. The big issue I had with this hotel was the staff. They did not look happy and were particularly rude, bordering on aggressive towards the English. In particular the lady in the restaurant who checked people in was very sour faced. She was particularly rude to my 7 year old granddaughter who had damp shorts on, she actually tugged at them and then in a very aggressive manner told us to go and change them. My granddaughter was scared of this lady afterthat incident, and this was unacceptable. One final thing, the food was very poor quality, it was like canteen food. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy and will never visit it again.
