Hotel Calimala Florence

We loved staying here. It was a very central location but just off the super busy roads, so we did not notice a lot of noise. It was easy to walk all over the city, and we frequently stopped back at the room to drop off our things and/or cool off for a bit in the middle of the day. The staff was very nice and helpful with showing us different locations/areas in the city, and organizing our taxi to the airport (especially since we left at 4am). We had breakfast included, and it was a great start to the day. Would definitely recommend Hotel Calimala!

We had such a great experience at Hotel Calimala. The rooms are absolutely beautiful—modern, stylish, and super comfortable. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The location is also unbeatable—right in the heart of Florence, walking distance to everything from the Duomo to the best cafes and shops. A special thank you to Davide, who honestly went above and beyond for us. He helped us with dropping off and picking up our car, gave us amazing recommendations for both breakfast and lunch, and even made our lunch reservation for us. Super helpful, friendly, and just made everything smoother and more enjoyable. The rest of the staff were also great—warm, welcoming, and professional. We also loved the cocktail bar downstairs—it had a cool, laid-back vibe and the bartender made some really great drinks. All around, this hotel made our time in Florence even more special. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

For those of you interested in the conclusion, here it is: This is by FAR the best hotel experience I have had in all of Europe. Now, let's talk about why. (i) The hotel is immaculate; it is beautifully designed and super clean. (ii) It is centrally located; this is close to all the major attractions. (iii) But you want to know the TOP reason: the staff! The staff is amazing. The entire staff is dedicated to make you have the best time. From the discounts you get in food and drinks in this and sister hotel, to reception. From the moment you get in they are excited to have you and it shows. My man Bruno, the mixologist, is the best. Make sure to get some cocktails with him. Do not think about it, and book this. I would come back to Florence just for stay here again.
