Hotel Campos de Baeza

Shame bar not really open. Very hot to even enjoy a GnT. Room good. Checkout noone there hang around for 2 hrs had to walk to town got back still noone the cleaner called some number and was told they was noone working at reception. We jist left have to check what they chatge on card. Good parking. Nice roof area but no drink service closed for holidays.

Pleasant hotel with excellent staff, though the hotel is a little dated. Judging by appearances this must once have been a very fine hotel. It is still a good hotel but could do with a little brightening up. Our room was an average size with a bit of an unique feature, dormer windows. To see the view from the room you had to go up two or three steps and look over a wall obviously meant to keep you safe. There was a brand new bathroom with a walk-in shower. As good as any hotel bathroom we have used. The hotel is a short walk from the heart of town and to the old town. Breakfast was excellent value and underground parking at the hotel is available at a cost of 8 euro.

I have to say - the most memorable thing about this hotel was opening my window in the morning and seeing the most green ocean of olive trees. The sound of the birds is so memorable! Breakfast was normal, and the bedrooms were clean. I was there on a business trip. But truly, just to experience the olive trees and birds, it's worth it.
