A unique and wonderful place. Peaceful, clean, healthy, and delicious food—what more could you ask for?
Beautiful building, very nice room and beautiful view. The room is very clean and the building is well furnished, but minimalistic. The building is quite remote, there is a narrow steep road leading to it. The parking lot is bad with holes and stones and the signage also deserves better. It is very quiet and you can make beautiful walks there. But it is not a real hotel, and certainly not a four star hotel. It is mainly a kind of retreat, for groups or individuals. The breakfast is bad, especially if you do not eat bread in the morning, but yoghurt with muesli. That was not there and also not available. For the rest there was dry bread, but organic. We ate there once, and were the only ones in the dining room, which by the way looks more like a canteen. The few people who were there, came for yoga etc. there was a special atmosphere. It is fine to stay there, but do bring something to eat yourself and go for dinner in one of the villages. The hotel is part of a foundation Phi Gaia Caceres. Listing as a four-star hotel on Booking gives a distorted picture.
