Hotel Can Boix de Peramola

We loved everything about Can Boix. The hotel location, amenities and rooms, as well as the delicious restaurant food and super friendly staff. Highly recommended, we’ll be back!

Beautiful place and perfect for a hike in the mountains. I can recommend it when you are traveling with dogs and want time to walk and enjoy nature. Excellent service and breakfast. Room a little dated, but a lot of character, bed comfy and bathroom functions. Will be back.

I had a very negative experience at this hotel. The service was extremely poor, definitely not worthy of a 4-star ; even a hostel would provide better service. The positive reviews are absolutely fakes, likely from friends or family of the company. Unfortunately we did not check all the comments before. Now I can see,  the comments  always about the same issues, lack of sttaf and terrible food, yet suddenly there are the fake ones.I have never seen such hotel before; it's a shame. I had spoken with some clients who told me it used to be a family-run hotel that had a good reputation, but they retired and now it's managed by a new company and everything is being done very poorly. Just to give you an idea - there was a lack of staff in August. The head waiter doesn't speak English and she is very rude to both customers and waiters. During dinner, there was only one waiter (Carlos, very kind and professional) and the hotel director serving as a waiter. I don't know if the director is working as a waiter or waiter is also managing 4* hotel,  He must has a very poor career background to accept that and not find a job with better conditions. The same goes for the chef; the presentation is amazing and professional, but there is no flavor at all. Not even salt no taste
