Hotel Ca'n Bonico

This hotel was the highlight of my trip to Mallorca. The property is so beautiful, the pool area is a dream. I felt so relaxed there after a full day of Cala hopping. We were upgraded to the room with a terrace which made getting in and out easy. The room was extremely spacious, with house keeping everyday. We did not try the breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

Overall, would recommend this hotel. We wanted beautiful grounds to come back to after a day of Cala hopping, and this delivered. The pool area is a delight. The rooms are very basic (could really do with some personality - art, a lamp etc to lift it). But, clean, spacious & comfortable. Found check in & the service a little wanting. Called for an iron & I had to collect it myself. Did not accommodate any late check out.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel marred my beautiful memory in Mallorca. I'm a lazy person and I never leave reviews but PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE FOR YOUR SAKE. Unfortunately this place is a poor-minded hotel and tries to catch your smallest mistake to rip you off. Our family(4 people) booked two rooms for two nights. When making reservation, I mistakenly booked for 1 person for 1 room instead of 2ppl for 1 room. And guess what? The hotel charged us 55euros more per person for a single night which adds up to a whopping 220euros in total. (And I don't know where this 55 euros is coming from. It's not even written down in the website. I asked them whether they have this price and policy written down in their website or anything and they said they don't have anything written it down. The woman actually said it is originaly 60euros but gave us a discount and charged is 55euros instead. If they say it's 70 or 80 euros, we have no way to check but to just pay😱) However in Agoda, a room price for 1 person is MORE EXPENSIVE than 2 people staying. This means that we might have actually paid more than what we were supposed to. If the price for 2 ppl for 1 room was cheaper than 1 person staying, I would have accepted their explanation and paid more. But it was the other way around. Single person's stay is more expensive than 2 people's stay. We explained this to the reception but what they said was 'sorry🙏🏻 It's our policy. What you booked through is Agoda and we don't know how the price is formed. Two people use more water and more towels and we also have tourist tax🙏🏻. You can talk to my collegue but anyways she would say the same thing.' But why is your price cheaper when two people are staying? This is a mystery that would stay for my life, because I booked other hotels in Mallorca the same way(2ppl with 2rooms) and they didn't charge us. Of course each hotel's policy can be all different but this hotel can charge you with various reasons and there is no price table that they can share with us. Their words are rules. I understand each individual's experience can vary. And also I do understand additional headcount could lead to more costs and we are willing to pay the price. But where is 55 euros coming from? We don't know. There is no price table they can share with us. I felt like it was a rip off 😢
