Hotel Cap Negret

Rooms - beautiful and spacious rooms. Loved how airy the hotel was, the sea breeze circulating around made it easier for when it extremely hot. Service - shout out to all the workers there, they really are kind, considerate and welcoming. The buffet everyday was great and I loved that there were Spanish food options as well as the continental catering that is provided for Western tastebuds. The spa was great for deal they had for private use as a couple for 50 minutes, would have been nice if you could have added extra time on though. Location- great location and parking is available. The walk to town is nice and the area surrounding is beautiful to be in. Loved the sunrises and sunsets. Thank you so much for making my anniversary trip with my partner so special. If we are ever back in Altea, this where will stay.

We just stayed in a suite for 10 days for our wedding in Altea with about 70 guests who travelled from London. Our room was absolutely amazing. The breakfast buffet is great and the food in the lunch restaurant is stunning. You are in a great location to access all the restaurants on the promenade, or you can easily get a taxi or use the free hotel minibus to get to the old town. The only thing that could have been better was the wait for a drink at the pool bar. I would have thought with it being peak summer time they would have more staff, sometimes we were waiting half an hour for a drink. But all the staff work very hard and I’d like to give a special mention to the lovely Izan who served us throughout our stay.

The location and structure are amazing. My family and I, though, experienced a very uncomfortable situation during the buffet for dinner. We were a group of 13 people with kids and an elderly people, we were allowed in 15 min before closure and we were surrounded by employees watching us eat. One suggestion, if it is not feasible to wait the costumer to finish the meal, please, do not allow people in near closure time. It was very unpleasant, we did not feel welcome to the restaurant. We paid the meals and we could not enjoy it. I want to reinforce this comment is not related to the employees personally. By the way, the bar crew were very very kind and patient!
