Hotel Capannelle

We stayed here recently for 4 nights, wasnt overly expensive, cost an extra €60 for the tax for 2 of us, a short Uber ride from the airport was approx €25 and a 20-30 minute bus ride into Rome Central tap & go on the 118 bus was approx €3. The bus stop is very local 2 streets away. If you’re driving there’s parking at the rear. Supermarket and restaurants close by. The rooms were nice, clean - everything we wanted for a ‘base’. The pool & outside area was nice, the staff friendly. 4* is not the same as an ‘English’ 4* (or any kind of Turkey rating etc you may ‘expect’) breakfast was nice & included, a few choices croissants, fruit, eggs, sausages etc. We didn’t go hungry. The bar staff were great & accommodating. Air con in the rooms, lovely shower. Massive double bed (be aware of Italian hard mattresses and thin pillows - we slept absolutely fine though!) Take a Mosquito plug in/protection with you!!!! We would recommend and return if going to explore Rome.

Nice place, but they have absolutely no ability to organize if you're with a group or attending an event. Terrible. We experienced overbooking during the Youth Jubilee — a total lack of respect toward us.

Dirty rooms, poor quality beds, no pillows, no water pressure, too expensive, bad coffee (sin in Italy), poor attention to detail. Breakfast was bad, location is bad, elevators out of service, only 1 keycard for a triple room, rude staff, overall very poor, especially considering its a "4 star"
