Hotel Caparena

The BEST night's sleep I've had in Sicily yet! The room was so comfortable and the balcony opened towards the sea - where the sound of waves was a lovely addition to the spring breeze. The staff were absolutely wonderful - very helpful and available to answer any questions and assistance I needed. I was so happy here that I stayed an extra night. Highly recommend trying their spa. I booked a massage and facial and Antonella was amazing. I felt like a whole new person. afterward. The shuttle up and back to the main town of Taormina was convenient and there is a bus stop right at the hotel as well.

Although it was a bit expensive for my income, this was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, if not the best. The food is miles ahead of most other food I’ve had while staying in hotels and even rivals what you get at restaurants. The rooms are nothing to write home about, but they are by no means bad. The staff were nice and the bus that takes you to Taormina for free (if I remember correctly) is also very nice! I highly recommend staying here if your pockets allow it.

Beautiful private beach — clean and well maintained. We came here using the shuttle from Hotel Isabella. Great spot to swim and relax. Small downside: there's an extra charge of €7 per person if you want a front-row parasol, right by the water 😅. A bit much, but overall a very nice experience!
