I went to Beauty Salon. They were able to accommodate me as a walk in and quickly get my hair just the way I wanted it. Everybody was friendly and professional will definitely be back again a highly recommended the Beauty Salon.

We stayed at Hotel Capilla del Mar and we had a mixed experience. The location was fine. It's well located across the street from the beach. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the balcony. However, that's the highlight of the room. The bed's and furniture were uncomfortable. The towels had a strong chemical smell. The complimentary breakfast left a lot to be desired. For example if you want decaf coffee you can't get it in either dining area. You can only get it at the bar in the lobby and no one was willing to assist with that. The food also was mediocre and the wait staff in the primary dining area upstairs were rude. It was a little better in the dining area adjacent to the lobby that faces the beach. The beach service was also rude and argued with my wife when she carried our towels down to the beach to secure a spot. The security guards were friendly and helpful as well as the bell hops. The check in service was also unfriendly and had a lot of attitude for seemingly no reason. We're unlikely to come back to this hotel. Lastly and this has nothing to do with the hotel however, you are completely unable to enjoy the beach because of the vendors constant harassment. It was so bad that I decided to keep a log. One day we we're on the beach for 2 hours and 15 minutes and received 92 solicitations during that period. That was just one day. You literally cannot enjoy the beach, you can barely have a conversation without being interrupted and it doesn't matter how many times you say No Gracias. One guy came back 4 times. I understand that this is how these people earn money but there has to be a better way to do this and allow the patrons to have some peace. F.Y.I the rudeness and bad customer service seems to not just be a Hotel Capilla del Mar issue. We experienced this in numerous restaurants and stores. My wife is from Barranquilla which is about 90 minutes away and we rarely experience this type of bad customer service. Of course Barranquilla isn't a tourist based economy.

Hotel Capilla Del Mar has a well-maintained exterior, and the staff—especially at the front desk—are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. While only a few staff members speak English, they do their best to assist guests. The breakfast selection is diverse and offers plenty of options, which is a great way to start the day. The hotel’s location is also a plus, and having a balcony is a nice feature. However, the interior of the rooms shows the hotel’s age. The beds are outdated, and the air conditioning was problematic during my stay. Additionally, the view from my room faced an abandoned building, which, while beyond the hotel’s control, was not the most pleasant sight. Overall, the hotel has its strengths, particularly in customer service and breakfast options, but room updates and improved amenities would greatly enhance the guest experience.
