Hotel Capitulum

after visiting this hotel, I'm lying in my home bed with a fever. Unfortunately, the entire facility was freezing temperatures. every radiator was cold. let's start the detailed reviews with the room. interior stylized for old times. The bed, although king size, had only one uncomfortable pillow and a split mattress. above the bed on the ceiling mounted some kind of sensor that from time to time flickered bright light which was very inconvenient. The room got warm only after turning on the air conditioning, but unfortunately the warm air was kept only in the room and not in the bathroom. despite the heater, which was obviously cold, the temperature in the bathroom was ice cream. there was no water in the room. You had to use the mini-bar, which you had to pay for at check-out. breakfast tried to pretend to be perfect but unfortunately it failed as everything was cold. The viennese eggs were almost raw and cold at the same time. a small selection of tasty things. Was there a lot of chemistry in the products served. service sitting under a blanket and unable to explain why the hotel is so cold. I think the only plus is the location. a bit difficult to get to, but once we enter and park the car in a quite good parking lot, we can enjoy the proximity of all the best places and tourist attractions. therefore, I rate the four-star hotel at 2 plus increasing this rating to 3 for the car park.

The rooms are nice and the location, right in the center, is also a plus. However the bathroom had a bad smell, but at least it was covered by some room deodorant. Another issue was the breakfast which I think it had decent options right at the start but even if we came 1h before the breakfast ended, there were not many options left, and it wasn't resupplied either.

The location is good, in the old part of Györ and the rooms are quite large. However, the AC is not powerful enough (Temp was creeping up with it at full speed), my fridge did not work, cold water pressure was insufficient, there was no complimentary water despite paying over 100 € for a night, breakfast is poor and offers little choice. Definitely not good value for money.
