This hotel truly earns their 5 star rating. We were more than satisfied with the amazing and helpful staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and prime location. Definitely made our time in Rome even more enjoyable!
While we initially encountered a few hiccups during our stay, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make it right for us, and we are now extremely pleased with our experience. My partner and I are celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel truly made our stay special. They were incredibly accommodating and ensured that we felt valued throughout our time here. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it. The room we stayed in was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. Additionally, the hotel’s location is fantastic, making it easy to explore all of Rome’s main attractions. Overall, the service from the hotel staff was exceptional, and we are very satisfied with our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for those looking for excellent service and a great location.
The location of Hotel Caravita in Rome is truly excellent; central, walkable, and convenient for exploring the city. Our room was clean, which we appreciated. However, the hotel overall did not meet expectations or reflect the quality shown in the photos online. Despite being advertised as a higher-end property, this is far from a 5-star hotel. Basic amenities were lacking: only one bottle of water was provided at check-in, with no daily replenishment. The breakfast and rooftop area were both underwhelming and not worth highlighting. The reception area is extremely small and unwelcoming. Upon arrival, there was no bell captain in sight, and we had to call him from inside the hotel to get assistance with our bags. Service at the front desk was also inconsistent; they rarely answered the phone promptly (usually after three tries), which was frustrating when we needed help. Most disappointing was the general smell throughout the hotel; it was quite unpleasant and made the space feel neglected. Ultimately, we treated this hotel as just a place to sleep and nothing more. If you’re expecting a luxury or boutique experience, this isn’t it.
