Hotel Carinthia

Very pleasant "old school"alpine hotel. Comfortable rooms, excellent and abundant meals, intimate atmosphere. Very small swimming pool with adjacent jacuzzi, filled with thermal water for which the whole area is famous. Spacious balconies, renovated bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would be happy to return again.

Nice, cozy family run hotel, very near to the gondola, skibus Main station and thermes. Neighbouring to nice park with pond. Hotel is very friendly to the dogs. They are not charged. Dinners are very good, especially fishes. Breakfasts fair, but not very big. Only scrambled eggs as you expect something warm. Boiled eggs or hot sausages are not available. Anyway, you are not hungry after breakfasts 🙂

I'm pretty sure the hotel was a marvel 20-30 years ago. It feels a bit outdated but not necessarily out of fashion. It has a different vibe, of a distant time. It's not bad though, the amenities are good, there's an onsite pool and jacuzzi and saunas. The location is perfect for skiing or therme lovers such as myself. The rooms were cozy with big double bathrooms which are greatly appreciated. There is wifi, though not the greatest speed, it works. The hosts and personnel have been super nice, thank you for the extra touch
