Initially drawn by the name (lol), the charm, cleanliness, mouthwatering food, excellent service, and location of the Hotel Carrión made a fan out of me. I stayed here when vacationing with my family and it was perfectly located in the middle of Loja. The family-owned establishment is cozy with spacious rooms and comfy beds; an overall excellent choice that doesn’t break your bank. Would stay again
Breakfast on the first floor. Comfy bed and warm. It was cold out. Peaceful place.
I'd like to give it 4.5 stars. Excellent hotel for the money you pay. It looks new, the room was spacious, pristine-looking, the bathroom was very roomy, and the staff where outstandingly helpful and kind. Considering the rather ridiculously low price we paid per night in comparison to the quality of the service, it was the best thing of our trip to Loja. It lost half a point for not including breakfast with the stay, but they explained the restaurant in the hotel belongs to a different owner. Anyway, very recommendable!
