Hotel Cartagena Dubai

Clean with amazing view. I got the junior suits but my hotel had a tiny little water leak in the bathroom, so I told the front desk as a precaution. To my surprise they upgraded my room with no extra charge.

Terrible. The place is filthy. The food dangerous- I contracted food poisoning and spent the holiday in bed. The food is tasteless and poorly stored/ prepared- basic hygiene failures aplenty. This is the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in. One plus point is the very friendly staff, except for the bar staff for whom service seems to be a painful chore!

Dumbest hotel ever. I arrived around 2pm. There's a crowd of other guests waiting in the lobby just like me as the hotel doesn't allow anyone to check in before 3pm. I understand that this is a private hotel and they can make their own rules but I'm also a private citizen and I can voice my own opinions. Guess what happens exactly at 3pm? A swarm of guests form a big line to check in. So it will take another hour for everyone to complete their check in. Not only that, prior to 3pm you can see a sea of people sitting and sleeping in the lobby making it look like a homeless situation. Rating 1 out of 5 and I haven't even checked in yet.
