This is my third visit to Casa Del Embajador. The hotel is very unusual. First of all the location is fantastic overlooking the promenade and sea a very short distance to beach and nightlife. The pool is very good and outdoor space is relaxed. Honesty bar with facilities to make coffee etc. The Hotel feels like a family home with b & b guests which I like. Staff are good but very much in the background. If you want to get away from it all it's great. If you want the high end pampering and being made a fuss of maybe not. Breakfast a little predictable but good. The relaxed nature and being left alone is what you are paying for. I will return hopefully in the near future, it's my kind of place.
Lovely charming hotel. Very tasteful colonial old style building. Family run who were very accommodating. Will definitely return. I star dropped as no aircon.
It's our 3rd time here in 3 years so suffice to say we love this property.We overlook some minor problems as it is a very special place. This time however the lack of aircon was problematic as we tried to cope with 30 degree temperatures at times Pretty much left to your own devices in a home from home atmosphere.
