Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures Centro Histórico

Had a wonderful weekend at Ecuatreasures. Hernan is a great host. His communication is the best, always reaching and offering help and suggestions. We also took a 1-day tour with him to see some very interesting sites. He will customize them to your desires or make suggestions on places to visit. The morning breakfast was very good local cuisine with arepas one day abd humitas the next as well as scrambled eggs, fresh juice like blackberry (mora) and Maracuya (Passion fruit). And of course, the coffee was terrific. The rooms are small as expected, we stayed in Fire. Very clean and nicely setup. The room window does face the east so it can get warm in the morning. One note, due to the old plumbing, as this is an historic building, it is suggested to not flush your TP but put in the waste basket. Not as bad as you would think, we had no issues doing that. Beats a clogged toilet

We had an excellent experience staying at Casa Ecuatreasures! Hernán was a warm and friendly host and gave us tons of information on things to do and where to go and also arranged for a great ride back to the airport. The homemade breakfasts were delicious and some of my favorite meals of the trip! Our room was large, clean, and very comfortable. The location of the hotel was safe and perfect for seeing all the beautiful sights in historic Quito. We're so glad we chose Casa Ecuatreasures to stay and would very highly recommend to anyone visiting!!

Fantastic stay. Highly recommended. Location was great but the service is the reason to stay. Hernan and team went out of their way to ensure I had a great trip and authentic Ecuadorian experience.
