Casa Palopo is truly such a special place with unmatched vibes! The rustic luxe decor, amazing views, fresh food, hillside location, gorgeous landscaping and plants, and friendly kind staff are truly remarkable. The staff was always so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. The chef was AMAZING and the restaurant staff were flawless. And the decor was memorably impressive... can’t decide what was more incredible, that or all the amazing beautiful plants!! We also loved the tortilla bar, going to Kinnik for lunch (wow—lake club vibes to rival Lake Como! And a funicular!!), all the fresh tortillas, and the incredible villa pool! We also participated in a traditional blessing ceremony with a Mayan shaman that was really special. Loved trying Guatemalan tea time as well. A memorable visit for sure. I’m so amazed this exists and is still flying under the radar. The design, service, and overall experience are really top-notch.
