Hotel Casa Playa Blanca

This is my #1 hotel to stay when we stay in La Libertad. I’ve stayed at other hotels but this is my go to I’ll be booking again soon. 10/10 highly recommend

This place is not a resort. Do not fall for the photos. Casa Playa Blanca is a complete farce. It is not a premium hotel. Playa blanca is next to ruins and destroyed building, on dirt and mud roads. Issues: No wifi, no running hot water, no pool towels, no toiletries in the bathroom except for a sample packet of a shampoo, a minuscule soap sliver wrapped in paper. No room service, no spa- there is no spa!! None! No restaurant, no bar. Liquors, beer and wine available by the bottle! No glass of wine here, you must buy the bottle. There’s no restaurant- staff take food order and get it from an off site place next door. Laundry service is provided by the manager and she sets the rate. Cash only. Limited staff, while there, there was just 2 young men running the place, trying to do everything by themselves from morning to late at night. Although this is a beach front property, the "beach'" is completely full of trash. While there, we saw the shore was littered in trash, paper, plastics, tires, debris. The beach is not suitable for sunbathing or swimming. AC barely worked. No safe in the room , no in room telephone, no real pillows, bedding for sleeping. No room service. No desk or chair to sit on. The fold out cot is super flat and uncomfortable. The room had a broken window. The lights went out twice. No power. Management price gauged us for everything including charging extra for coffee cream or extra ketchup.

Went into room roach on the bed and floors and showers. Pools were green. No hot water. No closets to hang clothes. Ghost town no other guest there so that was a sign. Checked out the following morning. Now they dont want to refund my money.
