Went horse riding here whilst staying in Ragusa, they picked us up from the (tiny!) train station in Donnafugata, which was great. The horses were well kept and well behaved, everyone was very friendly and relaxed, the countryside is beautiful to ride in. Very remote and Donnafugata is a small and quiet town.
Beautiful place for animal lovers! the room was perfectly clean, polite staff and great restaurant!
Remote place,far from pretty much everything. 20 min away from closest town. No one spoke English. Not even the meny in the restaurant was presented in English. Poor breakfast buffet. Expensive dinner. Clean room. Minimalistic and modern furnished. No immediate hot water, had to leave the water running for 5 minutes first. Dog kennel business aside, a lot of barking. Also bee-and-honey production aside. Got stung while trying to walk around the property. It's a working farm, so you are surrounded by many animals. Beautiful place, though - lush and green.
