Hotel Casona del Colegio

We just spent 2 nights here and even though the central location is busy as you would expect for Cartagena , Casona del Colegio is an oasis of peace and comfort. The noise of outside is not audible once inside, the welcome drinks were whatever we wanted. Mr Rojas, the Manager and his team took such wonderful care of us and delivered exceptional customer service! The rooms were wonderfully designed, perfectly cool and full of small touches like a fan above the sink to make our stay memorable! Great breakfast and food and drinks in general. I cannot recommend Casona del Colegio enough!

We are very happy with our stay! The staff are amazing, very kind, attentive, and provide excellent customer service. It was my husband’s birthday, and they kindly arranged decorations and music for our arrival, which made it extra special. The room is beautiful, and the staff are always attentive, making sure it’s perfectly set up or refreshed every time we go out. We truly felt cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended! If we are going to be back in Cartagena for sure this will be the place for us to stay again.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and attentive service. Every staff member went out of their way to make sure I felt welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. The hotel itself is stunning — beautifully designed with so much character, charm, and attention to detail. My room was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed to relax after exploring the city. And the location? Perfect. Right in the heart of Cartagena, within walking distance of all the best restaurants, shops, and historic sites. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better home base.
