Hotel Castel Vecchio

Stunning location on the ridge above a lake. Private parking, albeit the entry is at a steep gradient. Rooftop pool, cute bar and public areas. Newly refurbished room, albeit a touch to "modern" for my taste and the style of the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre with very few fresh items, but what a stunning backdrop of the lake that made up for it. Lovely staff. Overall a lovely stay.

Great location and very helpful staff at the reception. The pool and the terrace are worth the stay. However, thr rooms was essential and unmatched the venue, and breakfast is with supermarkets products, frozen bread, and no real connection with the amazing food scene of the castelli romani. In addition, breakfast till 9.30 on a weekend is extremely early for people who want to take a break, the pool closes at 7pm even if sunset is much later, and check out at 11 is ingenerous. They seem to be organizing a lot of events. The hotel can get very busy.

Lovely location on a lake, beautiful area. Upon entering the room: mattress had no cover only a thin sheet, dead bug, hair in the floor, no screens in window, AC broken in first room, lock broken in second room. No blanket on the bed. Blanket in armoir has no duvet cover. The lady at the desk was lovely and helpful, she tried to assist but was unable to. We left without spending the night. Beauty location but sadly not deserving of a good rating.
