Hotel Castellum

Super good hotel, in the heart of Cakovic. Great service, the lady at the reception was kind enough to give us a quick 1 min about the hotel and it's facilities. The castle / park and the town centre are all walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast spread is better than any 4 star hotel that I have stayed in in Croatia. Though I was traveling with family, it's a great place for business meetings and offsites. There is ample parking as well.

Just stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had a very satisfactory stay. The rooms are spacious, as were the shower stall in the toilet which made for a fabulous shower experience. The highlight from my stay was without doubt, experiencing the genuine hospitality and warmth of the hotel’s manager Diana and her team of very well trained and hospitable staff - including the likes of Martina, Christina, Martha, etc. As the hotel’s restaurant does not serve any meals beyond breakfast - finding food to eat was for me in the evenings posed a bit of an issue ( and perhaps the only downside to this hotel ) but Diana and Christina would assist me in getting food ordered in from outside and that solved the issue. Love the beds, the generous breakfast spread , steady wifi accessibility and the great water pressure in the showers - to me those are the fundamentals of a pleasant hotel stay and this hotel delivered !

Location is OK, peaceful and a short walk to the city center and several restaurants. I recommended not staying here during pollen season if you have pollen allergy because of its surroundings.
