We had a wonderful stay! The breakfasts were delicious and varied, served with a fantastic view over the city and port. Our room was spacious and came with a large balcony (available only on the 8th floor). The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel’s location in the historic center of Alghero was perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommended!
This is the one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Service is perfect. Rooms are very comfortable and cleaned each day. Stuff was really kind and professional. Breakfast was so delicious, especially Sardinian cheeses. We will probably visit Sardegna and this hotel again!
A decent stay, I would say. I can tell that others before us have mentioned the air conditioning being… not entirely satisfying. Some things to know: 1) The air conditioning system does not work unless you have your key card inserted inside the room. And you get one(!) key to the room, meaning you always come back to a hot room after a day in the sun. Not very nice. It then takes a looong time for the room to cool down and during the night the temperature drops to 22 degrees celsius. 2) Things such as swim clothes or towels do NOT dry in the toilet, which is the o ly place in the room where you can hang things up. Damp things in the morning. 3) Did you plan to work out in the gym? We did. Every single square meter (even the hotel room) in the hotel is cooler than the gym. I would estimate the temperature to be somewhere between 26-28 degrees in the gym, even with the (poor) air conditioning devices running on full blast. Sweaty as hell. The gym (or the reception) does not provide you with gym towels or water. So… bring your own water, at least. 4) Service at the reception is not what ypu expect from a 4 star hotel, even though they weren’t unpleasent. They weren’t just very interested in you. 5) We got free parking, which was nice, in a partner garage approximately 500 meters from the hotel. 6) Breakfast, the location of the hotel and the beds were the best thing about the hotel.
