Hotel Catedral

Places becoming somewhat dated. I am sure it was magnificent at one point. It is still clean and comfortable just pay attention to the price point compared to others.

Terrible . The lobby opens up to the street, which is pretty central and that is the only good point, the central location. The check in desk asks for a deposit for tbe remote which should have tipped us off to the kind of hotel. It used to be a movie theater so the rooms all surround rhe lobby area and have windows into it . The curtains do not close well so people look into your room and you get light and noise . Once inside the room, furniture is old and shabby, not too clean. The bathroom: a horror story. Cracked bathtub that looks dirty, no fawcet, a broken wondow , the shower box does not close right and the shower head is so full of lime that water sprays sideways, gets toilet paper wet and pools on the floor but is difficulg to rinse and wash because the water doesnt go where it should . Toiletries were horrible and motel-like . Breakfast “coupons” were brought to the room and in the morning they said that our coupons were not for the buffet, they were for american breakfast . Coffee was not good . We were offered a different hotel belonging to the same company . We refused, cancelled and spent the second night at a decent place . We are not picky. Dont want luxury, just clean and decent . This is apalling

For some reason it's noisy all night the rooms have no sound barrier. All night noise, if you want to get any sleep go somewhere else.
