Hotel Cavalluccio Marino

Very nice hotel in perfect location, the staff very friendly and welcoming, the rooms have great views to the beach.

The hotel is lovely, right on the sea-front with a swimming pool and its own beach with loungers and parasols. Our superior room has a spacious balcony with a lounger and a table and two chairs – plenty of room to relax or have a drink while looking at the pool and the sea. The room is spotlessly clean and everything feels new and good quality. The modern bathroom has an excellent shower. We ate breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea with the waves gently breaking below – lovely! Starting with a Bucks Fizz, followed by a good choice of cereal, yogurt, fruit, meats and cheeses. Then rounded off with a nice selection of cakes. The friendly waitress brought cappuccinos to our table. On arrival at lunchtime, we sat down on the terrace and a waitress just told us to wait 15 minutes before she could serve us – even though it wasn’t busy. Apart from that poor start, all the other staff were really nice. The hotel is 20 minutes’ walk from the station and even in May, not many restaurants open nearby. A more central location would have been better but the beach made up for it.

The front desk ladies Martina and Nuria were so very helpful and friendly. I always enjoyed interacting with them. They were genuinely interested in making our stay perfect. The restaurant staff were equally courteous and helpful.
