Hotel Cerro La Nina

Superb for families. We are picky travelers and so thought we might find some cons to this place based on a few of the reviews - but it was fantastic. Top notch views, amazing staff, the breakfast buffet was incredible. Dinner was nothing to write home about and expensive, but we managed with the kids menu just fine and chose to eat at the hotel to enjoy the views. Nearly every guest was in a family or family-friendly and so that was really nice for our crew to not have to tip-toe around with boisterous toddlers. The staff was so sweet with the kids too. Highly recommended. We will be back! Note to hotel: would be nice to be able to lock the rooms from the inside! We couldn’t keep our kids in the room without barricading the door.

Simply superb. Great location and very helpful staff. Swimming in the pool with views of the snow topped Picos de Europa was very special. The only, and significant, downside, if you're a dog owner, is that you have nowhere to eat indoors. Which isn't a problem when it's warm, but when it's cold, eating dinner crouched over a low table in reception makes you feel a bit resentful when you're extra for a dog in the first place.

Amazing views, lovely outside area to relax and enjoy the pool. Spacious room. Nice that breakfast starts at 08am. Points for improvement: add a coffee and tea maker to the rooms, ensure the 80cm single beds don’t separate so easily. Add some children’s play area indoors and outdoors.
